01 Aug Behind The Stream: Does Your Customer Know?!
Do you have a stellar process for delivering your goods or services? How effectively are you communicating that in your marketing efforts?
According to Gartner, Inc., a leading global research and advisory firm, 56% of customers prefer to purchase from companies that provide clear information about their processes for addressing potential issues.
Want to know how we suggest you communicate your process? A video! – well you knew that was coming. By visually showcasing your process—whether through compelling visuals, talking on camera, graphics, or a combination of these elements—you can alleviate customers’ concerns about how you operate.
Beth: One of the best uses for video is to explain a complex process and if you were a business that– or an organization that has a detailed process and the way that you do your process separates you from your competition we recommend creating a video!
Beth: Somewhere between 70 to 90% of communication is nonverbal so just being on camera is gonna give you way more of an edge. Then getting a chance to tell your story, your credentials, why you do what you do, and then getting as well as getting into the details of how you deliver your service and why is so impactful.
We’ve done that with a number of clients. Nested Design– they are a design-build company that has an 8-step process that is so specific to making construction and interior design a white glove, beautiful process. So wanted to have a video that was able to show these steps of the process.
Beecher development– They are a development company that has a way of looking at real estate investing from a profit and loss standpoint, and a business mindset that is so specific to the owner and founder Matt Beecher’s background, and the way he was raised that tap into the headspace of his ideal clients and who he’s looking to work with in a way that is not valuable until it is explained. Until that story is told.
We’ve also had ACE consulting– They recently created a video that talked about their process. They did this from a DIY standpoint. They shot it, they filmed it themselves, and then we edited it but they again, wanted to show their process for helping people the ways that they are able to serve their clients. Those are all reasons to do a video for process.
Steph: I think letting your clients know where they’re– what’s happening next is huge. They never have to wonder.
Beth: You’ve thought that through for them.
Erica: I just think that connection piece, to be able to connect with the person that’s actually doing the process that you, the audience, or potential client will be doing business with is such a huge trust builder.
